Accounting Manager Job Opening in Phoenix, Arizona - POSITION OVERVIEW
The Accounting Manager is responsible for the accurate, timely processing of all RWC Group payable invoices, ensuring all charges are authorized and coded correctly within the proper time period. This position handles accounts payable matters for multiple locations and will respond to vendors, co-workers, and internal department inquiries promptly, and professionally.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily review of positive pay items for multiple bank accounts
Initiate and approve daily bank wires
Schedule and balance sheet reviews and reconciliations
Supervise accounts payable team and staff accountants
Review monthly expense reports
Post monthly accruals and reserves
Oversee all payments for accuracy for 19 locations
Fixed asset management
Reconcile and post bi-weekly payroll entries including monthly accruals
Assist with month end financial statement review
Preparation of year-end audit materials
Other accounting/finance duties and special projects as determined by management

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Dealership experience a plus
ADP/CDK experience preferred
Five years of accounts payable and accounting experience
Accounting education favored or comparable years of experience
