Shipping Clerk Job Opening in Phoenix, Arizona - Job Title: Shipping Clerk

Reports To: Supply Chain Manager
Shift : 8:00 am- 4:30 pm
Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following; other duties may be assigned.
Performs counting, unloading, put-away, sorting, labeling, picking, packing, auditing, shipping, and making boxes.
Counts inventory before packing and shipping.
Checks, verifies and audits part that they are not damages or defective.
Matches pick ticket information to actual packed items.
Identify incorrect/short shipped items and immediately notify supervisor.
Keep work area clean at all times (5 S?s).

High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience
At least one to two years of warehouse/inventory experience is required
Experience in a fast paced, high unit shipping environment
Excellent verbal and writing communication skills.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Computer software skills in ERP systems, MS Office programs and general data entry.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Must frequently lift and or move up to 50lbs, occasionally required to lift and/or move more than 100lbs
