Staff/Senior Accountant Job Opening in Reston, Virginia - Responsibilities:
Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
Prepare Individual, Company and payroll tax returns
Assist with financial audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
Work to ensure efficient operation of the firm
Qualifications:
Requirement - Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
CPA candidate highly desirable
1-3 years in public accounting or other related fields, a plus
Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
Knowledge and experience with current computer accounting programs and experience with QuickBooks and ProSystem fx tax software desired.
Demonstrated ability to work in a highly specialized, fast paced, team environment
Multi-faceted work
Operate well in a highly competitive and deadline oriented environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
