Accounting/Consulting Independent Contractor (Hourly) Job Opening in Reston, Virginia - Position Description:
Chess Consulting LLC is seeking individuals willing to work as independent contractors on various consulting engagements involving the following types of matters:
Accounting and financial reporting projects
Forensic accounting and special investigations
Government contractor regulatory compliance
Internal Audit, SOX, and business processes reviews.
Qualifications:
An ideal candidate will possess the following skills/capabilities:
Bachelor?s degree in accounting or finance
At least 2 years of experience in Public Accounting
Solid technical accounting and audit skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities
Strong interpersonal skills and a client service mind-set.
Preferred Qualifications:
Licensed CPA in Virginia or Maryland
