Our company is a boutique tax accounting firm that has been representing & preparing returns for creative professionals for over 20 years. Our office is fun, quirky, and independent; we pride ourselves on making every day at the office enjoyable.
We are looking to hire a CPA, Enrolled Agent/LTC, and/or Licensed Tax Preparer in order to meet the needs of our expanding client list. Your responsibilities will primarily involve tax return preparation.
The following qualifications are desired:
Current CPA / EA / LTP certification
Minimum 2-3 years of experience preparing tax returns
Strong communication skills, and the ability to work well within a small team
Solid work ethic, and a willingness to "go the extra mile" during tax season
High level of attention to detail, and ability to maintain accurate records of work completed for compliance purposes
Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in one or all of the following areas; returns for businesses (Form 1120/1065), fiduciary/estate (Form 1041/706), self-employed individuals of all kinds (complex 1040's - Schedule C's/Schedule E's). Ultra Tax software experience is an extra bonus!
