Purchasing Assistant Job Opening in Franklin, Tennessee - Ford Custom Classic Homes, also known as Mike Ford Builders, is a locally owned and operated homebuilder that has been building in Williamson County since 1995. We build over 100 semi-custom homes a year within the most affluent communities of Franklin, Brentwood and surround areas. We are looking for someone to help with varied duties within the Purchasing department. Residential homebuilding experience is required for this job. Job duties include assisting the current Purchasing Agents with distributing color selections to varied suppliers and subcontractors, driving to different municipalities for permit submittals and retrievals. Multiple other duties include helping other departments such as sales and accounting with research and filing.
Candidates must be 'computer literate', thrive in a fast paced environment, be willing to help out in multiple departments as needed.
Residential Homebuilding experience isrequired; understanding the parts and pieces of how houses are built is a must.
