Client Support Specialist Job Opening in austin, Texas - Client Support Specialist Summary: Provides personal and estate security on a private ranch to ensure the safety of the clients, their family members and their guests. Conducts audits and provides customer service by performing the following: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Monitors and responds to audible and visual alarms. Monitor CCTV Respond to emergency situations such as fire, medical emergencies and weather related incidents by initiating established emergency response procedures. Conducts security checks and patrols: Of the premises and off site residences when required. To prevent safety hazards, thefts, violence or infractions of established rules. To prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows and gates. Provides Customer Service. Conduct audits to ensure the continued operations of equipment, appliances and devices so as not to inconvenience clients. Monitors the health and welfare of domestic livestock, and exotic animals. Coordinate medical care where appropriate. Maintain equipment ensuring the optimal readiness at all times by providing: Fuel/recharging and cleaning golf carts. Fuel and cleaning vehicles. Fuel and washing watercraft. Complete written logs of daily activities and irregularities. Communicate effectively using a two way radio. Observe personnel on site. Monitor weather conditions. Administer emergency medical treatment in accordance with the American Heart Association guidelines. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Previous experience in the security industry preferred but not necessary. Team Player- Must be flexible in work and scheduled hours of availability. Must have a positive attitude. Transportation- Must have reliable private transportation. Must have home and/or cell phone and be contactable. High School Diploma or GED. Professional Appearance- Must present a professional, business like appearance. Written Communication- Must be able to write reports and documents free of grammatical and spelling errors. Computer Skills- Must be fully conversant in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and web based information gathering. Customer Service- Must possess experience handling customer complaints in a professional manner. Age restriction- Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of interview. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening. Additional skills preferred: Trained in basic First Aid and/or CPR/AED. Have a fundamental understanding of fire safety and basic fire fighting procedures. Have a fundamental understanding of access control systems. Have a fundamental understanding of intrusion detection system operations. Familiar with CCTV operations. Work Environment. Employees will be exposed to harsh outdoor seasonal conditions associated with Central Texas, office, social and formal setting. The available shift is full time position, 36 hour work week.
