We offer The Hartford, Travelers, Safeco, Progressive, Transamerica and many other quality companies and a full line of products from home & auto to boat to life insurance. Duties Include: An active Property and Casualty (P&C) license is a must! An active Life & Health license is a BIG PLUS. Selling and processing new and renewal business, endorsements, certificates of insurance, assisting claims process, etc. Must have a solid understanding of personal lines insurance, terms and coverages for homeowners, auto, and umbrella. A minimum of 1 year experience in the insurance industry. Ability to multi-task , prioritize, and cross sell with minimal supervision. Comfortable with deadlines. Must be able to pay close attention to detail and perform well under pressure. Successful problem solver. Ability to interact with agency clients in a friendly and professional manner. Professional designations a plus but not required (CIC, CISR, CPCU, ACSR, etc.) Candidate should have working knowledge of a paperless system (prefer DORIS).
