Sonder is looking for a permanent, full-time Cash Application Clerk to be based in Denver, Colorado. As we rapidly expand our growth, we are looking for accounting clerks that can keep up with the increasing volume of transactions.

The Cash Applications Associate is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of vendor payments ensuring that all payments are made timely, and properly debited to the correct vendor account and reconciled to the bank document.
AT SONDER YOU WILL:
Record each invoice in the accounting system and apply the payment against it once processed
Process expense reports and record them in the accounting system
Daily coding of credit card bills
Perform weekly credit card reconciliations
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
Help in preparing bank reconciliations
Exercise care in performing regular duties to eliminate errors and prevent delay. Maintain work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition, ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with established company safety procedures.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
2+ years experience in related finance / accounting function
High School diploma required . Any additional education, particularly accounting or finance related, is a plus
Good communication skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize and take the initiative
Must have working knowledge of online accounting systems & ability to create spreadsheets in Excel/google sheet
Experience using Xero and/or Netsuite is an asset preferred
Experience working for a startup is a plus
