Corporate Director of Pharmacy Job Opening in Louisville, Kentucky - Located in Louisville, KY, the Baptist Health Corporate Director of Pharmacy has multiple responsibilities and key roles that include:
Developing a close partnership with Baptist physician leadership to enhance and improve integration of pharmacy across inpatient and ambulatory care settings;
Coordinating a system approach to pharmacy and broad end to end view of patient care which reflects a focus on coordinated care;
Directing the establishment and adherence to a streamlined method of standardizing and monitoring medication costs, selection, and utilization, which is focused on optimizing quality and reducing cost.
Requirements for the Corporate Director of Pharmacy :
Advanced degree (PharmD, MBA, MS) and a U.S. Pharmacy license in any state;
Minimum of 7 years of experience as a clinical manager or Director of Pharmacy in a large hospital or multi hospital system;
Demonstrated experience in procurement, negotiating, contracting, business law, cost containment and expense management activities.
