JOB DESCRIPTION / WORKING HOURS : Position administers policies, procedures and programs that guide and support the quality services of LAMC. Manages the functions of the hospital to promote effective utilization of all inter-and intra-departmental services as pertains to Quality. Plans and directs operations of the department. Implements/Oversees and ensures compliance with Education Plan for facility. Coordinates and oversees all Regulatory and CMS processes for facility
MIN. SKILLS REQUIRED: At least three years of quality improvement experience in a healthcare setting as well as minimum of 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience . Prior experience, preferably in a leadership role. Previous regulatory (TJC) compliance experience required, prior experience in case management, clinical documentation improvement, and/or coding accuracy preferred. RN required , CPHQ preferred
MIN ED REQ'D : BSN with preference to MSN, BLS and ACLS required
