Ideal Person for this Position
The Art Trade / Sales Consultants are responsible for providing outstanding customer service, establishing and developing strong customer relationships, building individual sales volume, establishing new accounts and overseeing their individual projects from start to finish.
You?ll report to a Sales team leader, participate in a ?we / team? atmosphere and be responsible for managing all sales activities. You?ll spend most of your time working from the in-office showroom but travel and participation during trade shows are required. You?ll have an extended team of people working hard alongside you.
Specific Tasks and Responsibilities :
Effective CRM strategy.
Build and maintain client base through consistent follow-up with phone calls and thank you notes, scheduling appointments to review new product line and inviting clients to showroom and trade shows.
Contribute towards the department reaching and exceeding weekly, quarterly and annual objectives and goals. Also, responsible for reaching and exceeding personal sales goals.
Proactively create initial rapport with customers to anticipate & accommodate their needs.
Enter and process customer orders (heavy data entry with attention to detail), ensuring on-time deliveries, handling damage claims, replacements and all necessary follow ups.
Ensure all internal and external deadlines are met.
Fosters open and constructive communication with team members, being always collaborative and proposing effective solutions.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in art, design or home décor industry. Sales in a commission-driven environment; however, for a candidate with a well-suited personality and the drive to succeed, we are willing to train.
Extensive Internet, Microsoft Office and technical knowledge a must. Salesforce experience a plus.
Strong reading, writing and math skills.
Displays an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
Extremely detailed and organized

Full time hourly plus commission position (Monday-Friday)
