Night Audit Relief Job Opening in West Hartford, Connecticut - BRAND NEW LUXURY HOTEL-DELAMAR HOTEL-West Hartford CT is looking for a Night Auditor.
JOB OVERVIEW: Check-in/Check-out hotel guests in a friendly prompt and professional manner; process all payments according to established procedures. Accurately balance all hotel income and expenses for 24 hour hotel operating period.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional the telephone in a friendly, prompt and professional guests, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and room location. Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures including but not limited to posting all charges, completing cashier and other reports, preparing deposit, and counting/securing assigned any outstanding guest requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or appropriately to guest appropriate service recovery gestures in order to ensure total guest team work and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other other duties as assigned including guest room tours, concierge services, special guest requests, front office routine administrative audit duties by reconciling all transaction processed during the to the attention of the Front Office Manager with any discrepancy or potential as hotel system liaison during night in and open tickets with IT Support during the overnight hours if a system fails or issues credit card morning reports for night audit checklist including reconciliation of rooms/reservations segmentation.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or equivalent, MUST HAVE previous Night Audit experience speak fluent English. Other languages job requires ability to perform the following: Frequently standing up behind the desk and front office area. Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds. Use a keyboard to operate various property management and reservations system, will be required to work mornings, evenings and nights including weekends as well as holidays.
