As the Corporate Accountant for our business in the U.S., you will have broad accounting responsibilities. You will support our U.S. business with direct accounting support for our Business Leaders, Human Resources, and the overseas business operations team.
Responsibilities include:
Works very closely with the SSC manager and Finance SSC Team who will be processing US accounting transactions for Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, and Cash management postings.
Covers the General Ledger postings ( prepayments, accruals, payroll, reclassifications, Trail Balance and P&L related postings) Covers the Fixed Assets submodule postings: additions, retirements, reconciliations, and documentations. Reconciles Trial Balance with sub ledgers and provides backup for the non-subledger related nominals.
Oversees payroll services, Local Legal Reporting and Direct Taxes for the US
Oversee and help to maintain ADP payroll database, input employee data as needed for tax purposes, salary adjustments, bonus/commission payments, unpaid leaves, etc.
Educational Background:
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or other relevant major
Strong Preference for recognized US Accounting Qualification.
Excellent IT skills with knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
Experience and Skills:
3 or more years of experience in a similar role.
US accounting and legislation (GAAP)
Previous experience and exposure to audits
Experience of acting as a Commercial Finance ?Business Partner? and trusted advisor to Non-Finance Executives
ADP Workforce Now experience preferred
Oracle or similar ERP package experience preferred
