Job Summary
The Picker/Shipper is responsible for correctly picking customer orders, both systematically and physically, and correctly packaging and shipping orders.
General Accountabilities
Uses the pick ticket to correctly pick customer orders, pre-packs fragile items with packaging on picking cart.
Sorts and sends picked orders to the correct shipping station.
Displays a knowledge of best-shipping methods and packages orders accordingly; verifies quantities before packing.
Securely packs items with protective packaging to prevent damage in transit.
Weighs each package over 1 pound and selects the correct shipping method.
Prints shipping labels, labels packages, and sorts orders according to shipping method.
Exhibits a knowledge of all inventory functions including auditing, replenishment, and put away.
Maintains a clean and organized work space.
Minimizes down time and maximizes productivity.
Job Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: One or more years previous work-related experience

Clear written and verbal communication skills.
