Senior Accountant ~ Supervisory Duties! Job Opening in Kansas City, Missouri - Abacus Search & Staffing is assisting a high-growth organization in their search for a Senior Accountant ! Job duties for the Senior Accountant position include, but are not limited to: Creating / updating financial dashboards for Senior Management; budgeting / forecasting; producing financial statements; assisting with month-end closing; implementing and monitoring internal controls; special projects; and, supervising one Accounting Clerk.
Requirements for the Senior Accountant position include, but are not limited to: Bachelor's degree, Accounting; at least three years of Accounting experience; current / previous public accounting experience, highly preferred; CPA, preferred; experience with QuickBooks, preferred; strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel; strong communication skills; excellent analytical abilities; and, the desire to work in an ever-changing environment.
