Senior Accountant Job Opening in Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Junior Controller. Senior Accountant. Local candidates only.
Ensure the accurate and timely processing of accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchase orders, expense reports, cash control and payroll processing.
Oversee the activities of the accounting department for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including internal and external monthly financial statements and bank reconciliations.
Prepare monthly and annual financial reports.
Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data.
Provide financial analysis as needed.
Comply with local, state and federal government reporting requirements and corporate tax filings.
Proven experience with NetSuite or related database/ERP system.
Responsible for inventory management practices to ensure appropriate inventory goals.
Communicate with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner.
Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instruction.
Requirements:
Bachelor's in Accounting or related field.
5-7 years experience with financial statement preparation and general ledger reconciliation.
Minimum of 2 years Accounting Lease Administration.
Experience with QuickBooks and ERP platforms.
Microsoft Office product knowledge with exceptional Excel skills.
Must be a self-starter, well organized, and ability to meet strict deadlines,
Articulate with excellent customer service and presentation skills.
Ability to analyze, problem solve, prioritize, and communicate professionally.
Dependable, flexible, and able to work under pressure
Highly motivated team player.
Construction experience desirable.
