Senior Accountant Job Opening in Woodstock, Virginia - We are a local CPA firm in the Shenandoah Valley seeking to hire a senior accountant. This is a unique opportunity to apply your accounting experience to a variety of small to mid-size business clients.
Responsibilities would include:
Participating in audit and review engagements
Preparation of corporate and partnership income tax returns
Reviewing account reconciliations and month closing steps
Analyzing general ledgers to identify and clean up errors
Communicating with client's internal accounting departments
Assisting clients with their financial statement reporting
Assisting and maintaining clients? annual operating plan/budgets.
Reviewing of operational, financial, and technology processes to provide management with an individual assessment of business risk, internal control, and the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the process.
Setting up or upgrading accounting ledgers or systems for businesses
