Duties and Responsibilities:
The position is divided between three key areas:
Operations
o Work with Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to develop and implement the policies and procedures
required to support a best in class culture.
o Supervise all Administrative, IT, Marketing and Research personnel
o Manage outsourced business services (e.g. Accounting & IT services)
o Oversee vendor selection and management
o Ensure preparation of presentation material for company, executive committee and principal meetings
o Work with events committee to coordinate company and community activities
o Lead annual business insurance plan review, selection and application process
Accounting and Finance
o Oversee processing of all broker commissions
o Prepare bi-weekly payroll
o Reconcile broker expenses
o Assist with creation of Annual Operating Plan
o Track performance to Annual Operating Plan
o Oversee all aspects of 401k program, submitting annual census and 5500
o Oversee expense reimbursement process
Human Resources
o Lead annual benefit plan review and selection process
o Lead annual benefit open enrollment
o Lead staff recruiting and hiring
o Oversee the onboarding and separation of all employees
o Assist with the creation & administration of performance improvement and disciplinary action plans
o Review handbook and internal policies, revising as necessary
o Approve and manage all staff PTO requests
o Conduct performance reviews of staff to include recommendation for merit increases as required
o Motivate, coach and develop training plans for staff
o Ensure compliance with State and Federal employment law
o Handle other HR related tasks as necessary.
Miscellaneous
o Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements:
o BS/BA Degree
o 5-7 years of related experience, including a minimum of 2 years of management experience
o Tech Savvy with excellent computer skills, including intermediate to advanced proficiency with
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and QuickBooks.
o Solid knowledge of State and Federal employment law
o Solid knowledge of Human Resources processes, including but not limited to: recruiting, onboarding,
conducting terminations/exit interviews, selecting benefit plans, and coaching/developing employees
o Knowledge of basic accounting principles
o Ability to learn quickly and work autonomously
