FT Family Practice Physician Needed Job Opening in pensacola, Florida - FT Family Practice Physician Needed Full-Time Position for a Family Practice Physician at our Chronic Disease Management/Acute Care Clinic Located in Pensacola, FL At Healthstat, we are looking for healthcare professionals interested in joining a company focused on improving health and providing hands-on patient coaching and care. Healthstat hires clinicians who understand the health impact that can be made by managing chronic conditions and providing patients unencumbered access to care. Physicians working in Healthstat worksite clinics assist patients in reaching personal health improvement goals. They must be able to quickly assimilate to the employer?s culture, environment and goals. Relationships based on trust, an understanding of the employer?s health benefits program and the local health care community is required. Strong collaborative skills are necessary in order to make the best use of all resources available to employees. The Physician must engage employees in personal health improvement, deliver primary care services, and act as a resource and advocate for employee health care needs. The Physicians are provided training and support form the Healthstat clinic operations team. Clinic operations are achieved through the use of a state of the art electronic medical record program and predictive modeling tools. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES ? Interviews patient, family, significant others to formulate a medical history. ? Observes, identifies & collects data to identify medical care needs of the patient & family. ? Correlates the medical care with staff. ? Identifies & treats abnormal diagnostic data & clinical changes in patient's condition. ? Develops and/or updates individualized medical treatment plan on each patient. ? Documents patient problems and medical care needs of the patient and family/significant others. ? Actively involves patient and family/significant others in planning patient's care. ? Develops short- and long-term goals for the patient and family/significant others. Identifies the need to involve other disciplines in the patient's care. ? Explains treatments and procedures to patient and family/significant others. ? Provides patient and family teaching. ? Provides for the safety, cleanliness and comfort of the patient. ? Initiates emergency procedures as needed within the scope of practice and clinic policy. ? Evaluates the patient's response to medical care. ? Updates and revises care to be delivered as patients' needs change. ? Appropriately communicates changes and care given to other members of the health care team. ? Assumes leadership role and delegates medical care. ? Assigns tasks appropriately and guides team members based on their skills and abilities. ? Maintains awareness of legal aspects of clinic services. ? Conducts patient care seminars and classes. ? Sets goals and objectives for the clinic, including expansion of services. ? Participates in patient care Quality Assurance programs. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS ? Florida board-certified, licensed physician from a fully-accredited medical school. ? Applicant must show proof of board certification and degree(s). ? Current/valid to practice medicine in the State of Florida. ? DEA certificate and CPR certification. ? Board certified with any current certificate in a specialty area, a perk ? Ability to provide diagnostic treatment and counseling services. ? Ability to analyze situations and take effective action. ? Excellent interpersonal skills in order to interact with office personnel, patients, and their families, etc. ? Possesses a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism.
