Natural Health Associate Job Opening in Green Bay, Wisconsin - Streu's Pharmacy Inc. is a locally owned, independent pharmacy and natural supplement store located in downtown Green Bay. We provide complete prescription service, compliance packaging of medications, quality natural supplements, health & beauty products, grocery, educational programs, healthcare screenings, and a unique gift department.
Job Summary: To provide guidance to customers requiring assistance in locating products throughout the retail store and completes transaction through the point of sales system by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Ensures initial contact with walk-in customers to the store is performed in accordance with organizational customer service standards.
Listens to customers, provides approved literature, and directs customers to the use of electronic resources available in the store.
Provides quality customer service by maintaining a global knowledge of pharmacy and retail store operations.
Maintains customer confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Refers customers to the appropriate health care professionals within the company when customer questions extend beyond the scope of their role and follows up with health care professionals to ensure customer issues have been resolved.
Ensures accuracy of cash, credit-debit card, received on-account, and charge-on account transactions.
Maintains and assists with product orders and/or restocking of retail sales products and ensures that store shelves are neat and organized.
Responsible for sanitizing equipment, tools, utensils, and work area in accordance with company standards and health department regulations.
Prepares specialty food items in accordance with food service standards.
Performs daily opening and closing procedures, task assignments, and ordering procedures when designated.
Qualifications: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or less than one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, taste and smell. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
