Senior Software Engineer Job Opening in East Brunswick, New jersey - Our large client in the financial industry is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (C) to join their team who is prepared to make a difference to the organization vision. Ideally, a Full stack engineer who understands how to develop/optimize code.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Senior Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing and testing enhancements to an the client's merchant fraud application written in Java, C, C++, PL/SQL.
Minimum Requirements Needed:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent software development experience.
5 years? software development experience.
Design and develop enhancements to an application written in C, PL/SQL and Unix
Performance tuning and testing of the application.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
5+ years C, PL\SQL, UNIX
Experience of Object-Oriented Design and Programming in multithreading environment
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Strong motivation and ability to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment supporting a business-critical production environment.
Highly Desired Skills:
Prefer experience with application testing
Experience in C++, and Java
Experience with Pro*C
Experience with DevOps
