DevOps/Build and Automation Engineer Job Opening in Moonachie, New jersey - Position Title: Senior System Engineer, Automation and Release
Location: Moonachie, NJ, USA(Remote)
Contract Type: Full Time

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Automate recurring work to increase efficiency and reduce time to ship
Write build and test scripts for software engineering projects
Install, integrate and maintain release management tools
Troubleshoot deployments to resolve errors
Provide 24×7 on-call support, after hours and weekend work as needed
Inventory and document application layers
Create failover and cutover scripts
Complete other tasks as required
Experience, Education and Skills
8+ years in a system administration or configuration role
5+ years of either development or system experience
Bachelor?s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent industry experience
System administration in a heterogeneous environment: Windows, Unix, Linux, OS X
Programming or scripting in some languages: shell, Perl, PowerShell, etc.
Use of automation, orchestration and virtualization technologies: Docker, Azure, Jenkins etc.
SDLC and release management tools: TFS, Git etc.
Networking fundamentals
