For our Cash Management Solutions and Smart Safes business in New Albany (IN), we are looking for a responsible, self-motivated individual who is ready to contribute to a vibrant and growing company. The person in this role will participate in:
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support electrical engineer as technician on multiple projects,
Experience reworking boards and cables
Ability to read C/C++ code and make changes to firmware
Support production with issue resolution
Develop understanding of product line and make recommendations for improvements
Work well in a small team environment with limited supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor?s Degree in Electrical, Computer or Software Engineering
Minimum of 2 years working experience
PREFERRED SKILLS
Experience in hardware / embedded firmware development for microcontrollers in C
Excellent programming skills in XC8 and C18
Should have implemented multiple communication interfaces (RS-232, SPI, I2C, USB, etc.)
Knowledge of analog and digital design best practices
Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
Experience working with legacy products and obsolescence resolution
Experience with Altium, Solidworks, Linux and MPLAB
