Senior Staff Accountant (Brickell) Job Opening in Miami, Florida - Private Equity firm on Brickell is looking to hire a Senior Staff Accountant.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in timely and accurately closing of the books and reporting results.
Review, analyze, and process accounting transactions of moderate complexity, while adhering to GAAP accounting.
Assist in the month-end close process including responsibilities for accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and fluctuation analysis of various income statement and/or balance sheet accounts.
Post daily and monthly GL entries.
Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
BA/BS in Accounting / Finance or Business Management
2+ years of accounting experience
Advanced experience in Excel and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong verbal/written communication and service skills
