Full Charge Bookkeeper Job Opening in Fishers, Indiana - Cook, Graber & Company is a Fishers accounting firm that is seeking to hire an energetic and outgoing individual to join our team. This individual will serve as the office manager and perform various administrative tasks outside of tax season as well as provide bookkeeping, accounting, bill payment and cash flow monitoring services to clients.
Optimal candidates should possess the desired qualifications:
Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Quickbooks Desktop.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Basic understanding of payroll
Prior bookkeeping experience
Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize
Strong telephone, email and interpersonal communication skills
Team-oriented individual
High attention to detail
Associate's degree in business preferred, but not a requirement
Tech savvy and able to learn new programs and help implement best practices in using new programs.
Job Duties Include:
Preparation of monthly invoices
Preparation of bank deposits and reconciliation of bank accounts
Monitor and pay client bills
Process payroll in QuickBooks Online
Scan client documents and statements
Monthly financial statement reviews and preparation
Opening, sorting and processing mail
Monitoring and ordering of office supplies and management of various vendors
Execution of special projects, as assigned
Process tax returns and greet guests outside of tax season.
Performing miscellaneous administrative duties.
