Corporate Accountant Job Opening in Indianapolis, Indiana - A fast growing hospitality company in Indianapolis is searching for a Corporate Accountant to manage both the accounting and day to day office duties. The ideal candidate will have multiple years of accounting and office experience. Essential job duties include: reconciling bank accounts in Peachtree Sage - 50; matching and entering invoices for payment; performing payrolls for 14 hotels in three different states; filling a payroll reports Federal and state; calculating and remitting sales taxes due and other misc. accounting duties as assigned; payroll; some HR tasks; and day to day administrative duties; bank reconciling; monthly financial statements; general ledger entries. Requirements· Candidate must have 7+ years full charge accounting experience.· Associates degree in Accounting or related field required.· Experience including general ledger, accounts payable, payroll/payroll tax processing, month-end close and financial statement preparation is must· Ability to work independently.· Must be great with multi-tasking· Onsite work; this is not a remote position. No travel is required.
