Job Summary
The successful candidate will produce software applications in support of the EDI Department internal applications. The candidate will work with an interdisciplinary team to support development initiatives. Working with business stakeholders to understand the EDI business requirements and to design and develop related solutions. The position is based out of the R+L Carriers Technology Center in Wilmington, Ohio.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Development of applications using C#, the Framework and web technologies
Understand business operations requirements
Object Oriented Analysis and Design
Database design and development (Oracle / Microsoft SQL Server)
Preparation of development estimates and design documents
Support and maintenance of existing systems
Qualifications
Conceptual understanding of Software development process
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized and independent, effective at multitasking, and able to interact with individuals from multiple disciplines.
Exposure with object oriented programming in C# (MVC) is a plus
Exposure to , AJAX, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, JQuery
Exposure to T-SQL and PL/SQL
Exposure to 3rd party JavaScript libraries (jQuery, YUI, Dojo, ExtJS, etc) is a plus
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or commensurate experience
