Scientific Project Mgr. III Job Opening in lehigh valley, Pennsylvania - Scientific Project Mgr. III Qualifications: PhD or other advanced degree in health services research, epidemiology, outcomes research, public health, population health, health promotion, or a related field. Applicants with a master's degree and 3 or more years of related work experience will also be considered. - Experience planning and conducting studies with primary data collection. - Experience collaborating with a team of researchers. - Experience presenting scientific information to both scientific and non-scientific audiences. - Strong communication skills. Responsibilities: Collaborating on program planning & evaluation in multiple chronic disease states, possibly including HIV/AIDS, CV disease, asthma, and/or diabetes. Co-authoring study protocols, abstracts, or other communications. Conducting searches of scientific literature & providing summaries & critical analyses of extant research. Identifying & adapting appropriate patient-outcome measures for studies & evaluations. Managing contracts w/external researchers including tracking budgets & timelines. Representing USOR at meetings & communicating meeting activities to other USOR scientific staff.
