Bus Driver Needed!!! Job Opening in sacramento, California - Bus Driver Needed!!! We are looking for an experienced bus driver who wants to get paid for seeing the Mid - to Southeastern United States. We offer a competitive salary and a great benefits package! Our buses are 40 foot city buses that have been retrofitted to be mobile computer labs. You should be willing to drive the bus to various community events throughout the East. A typical day includes driving the bus to the scheduled community event, turning the computers on, setting up the satellite, and helping our clients become familiar with the bus. For the rest of the event, you are pretty much on call but you do need to stay onsite to help out if needed and always offer up a smiling face to both the client and the customers. If there are issues with technology on the bus, it is expected that you will troubleshoot. We will fully train you on the technology and you will have computer and mechanical support available a phone call away - 24/7. To qualify for this position, you do need to possess the following: - A valid Class A or Class B License at time of application and clean driving record (1 point or less); driving record must reflect no moving violations or at-fault accidents within the past 3 years - Basic technical/computer abilities and knowledge (job specific training and support provided) - Strong English verbal and written communication skills - Ability to pass a state Department of Justice and FBI fingerprint background check as well as a credit check - Bilingual Spanish speakers are preferred but not required Most importantly, you must be willing to be on the road for up to four weeks at a time. We are looking for someone who is able to drive up to four weeks in the East and then come back to Sacramento for four weeks, before heading out again.
