If you have the following experience and talents, we can provide the tools you need to be successful selling advertising for the Sacramento News & Review: Requirements: *High school diploma or equivalent required. 4-year degree preferred. *Vehicle, license and insurance required. Experience: *At least 2 years experience in media sales experience in the Sacramento market preferred. *Business relationships in the local industry preferred. Talents: *Sales driven *The ability to self-motivate *Excellent time management skills and ability to work within deadlines *The ability to be social and enjoy talking with people *A sincere curiosity about how different types of businesses work *An interest in learning consultative sales skills *The ability to learn how to develop solutions to marketing problems *A strong work ethic *Solid organizational skills *Superior customer service skills The Sales Representative position is considered a full-time, exempt position, with a work schedule of 40 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced, fun and friendly. This position may require you to work some evening and weekend hours. Compensation includes a base salary, plus commission and bonus, and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan, and paid-time-off.
