Account Managers Responsibilities:
Lead Generation
Identifying client needs and proposing our solutions as appropriate
Persistent follow-up with prospects
Persistent follow-up on proposals
Tracking Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities in Steptron?s CRM Solution
Communicating progress and status to Management
Training newly hired Account Managers
Occasional travel to client sites for Corporate Presentations
Skills
As an Inside Sales\Account Manager, you must be motivated, adaptable and resilient with a strong results-oriented work ethic. It is also important that you display excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with a wide variety of customers. Specific qualifications for the Inside Sales Representative position include:
Prior sales-related experience
Prior inside B2B sales experience preferred
Cold calling experience
Lead tracking & management
Internet research to identify leads
Effective written and oral communication skills
Proven track record of opening doors, identifying needs and scheduling follow up calls to close the opportunity
Experience with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
