PLM Enterprise Sales Consultant Job Opening in Detroit, Michigan - Enterprise Sales Consultant - Location: Detroit, MI
The purpose of this position is to develop sales for the subsidiary Advanced Solutions PLM, LLC. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of high performance with a hunter mentality for mining new at the executive level. This company division was created to ensure focus in selling and supporting PLM software and services. You will be contacting customers directly through prospecting, leads, referrals, and other means that a direct sales force conducts business. The goal is to meet quota by developing strong value propositions, and deliver business solution presentations to executive decision-makers.
Essential Job Functions
Create demand by successfully locating, developing, and selling PLM software and ASI Services to new accounts.
Cold call to discover opportunity and build relations with Senior Management and Executives.
Approach customer engagements with a consulting mindset.
Expand professional relationships within new and customer named accounts assigned to you.
Develop strong business relationships that exist at the Executive Level across multiple functional areas of your customers.
Successfully execute the Key Sales Activities, prescribed by the Company, and provide accurate and timely documentation of these activities in the Company's CRM.
Work with and respect the partnership with vendor representatives and assist with any potential business opportunities within the assigned territory.
Maintain an accurate Sales Pipeline and Forecast in the CRM.
Develop professional solution proposals which include products, services, implementation plans, and business justifications (ROI).
Work with ASI Engineering to provide technical product information and/or solutions demonstrations.
Participate in marketing-related activities.
50% travel required in Midwest territory.
Represents Advanced Solutions in a professional manner to customers, prospects and to the business community at large.
Reacts positively to change and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Motivated self-starter
Understanding of the overall manufacturing process
Comfortable in business discussions with Senior Management and Executives
Effective interpersonal, presentation and objection handling skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Ability to work effectively and professionally with executives
Professional sales methodology training
Minimum Education & Work Experience
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
3-5 years of professional sales experience selling software and services
