Job Description
Review of federal and state income taxes for individuals, businesses, estates, trusts, and tax exempt organizations
Research complex tax issues
Perform tax planning to minimize tax liabilities of individuals, businesses, and trusts
Prepare internal memoranda, written , and documents for submission to the Internal Revenue Service
Train and evaluate staff
Build strong relationships with new and existing clients
Experience
Minimum Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting
CPA Certification
8+ years prior tax experience in public accounting
Significant supervisory experience (2 years +)
Experience preparing tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts
Strong accounting and analytical skills
Strong computer skills; proficiency in tax software, Excel & Word
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
