We are looking for a C-Level Compliance expert to join our growing physician owned pain medicine group. As the Chief Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective company-wide compliance program. The CCO will design and manage the organization's compliance efforts, including investigating compliance-related issues, administration, and enforcement of the organization's compliance plan and policies. You will also be responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and auditing various organizational activities that relate to potential compliance issues. You will assess compliance vulnerabilities, conduct root cause analysis, and lead process improvement activities. Establish best practices with the organization to ensure compliance. With minimal direct management oversight, this position researches, analyzes and processes all regulatory complaints for all lines of business. This includes in-depth research, analysis, decision making and written notice to the regulator. This position is responsible for Pain Clinics as well as Corporate Compliance. Executes and manages escalated compliance matters through implementation.
Essential
Handle cases involving key regulatory groups.
Assess the business impact of state and federal regulations and mandates.
Responsible for developing and implementing policies, procedures, and practices designed to ensure compliance with Medicaid program requirements.
Provide quality customer service and prompt complaint resolution.
Serve as subject matter expert for the company on all compliance requirements, and issues.
Communicates compliance policies throughout the organization, actively seeks to increase employee awareness.
Responsible for meeting the reporting requirement of regulatory agencies.
Requirements
Bachelor?s Degree plus seven years of related Healthcare experience in legal, nursing, medical management or compliance.
Must be familiar with government regulations including Medicaid law.
Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
A thorough knowledge of current policies, procedures, and rules for all lines of business, plus federal and state activities as they relate to subscriber?s rights.
Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of employees in the company as well as external customers.
Extensive knowledge of regulatory initiatives and legislation that impacts the company.
