Software Engineer: PowerTrain Job Opening in Novi, Michigan - We are looking for qualified candidates with Mitsubishi PLC design and also have Powertrain Assembly application experience candidates who will:
Final Debug Powertrain Assembly machine software. (Design and debug at Comau is completed)
Utilize existing customer and internal standards as well as references from previous projects to develop and customize all required application specific software (i.e. PLC ladder logic, HMI files).
Create an issues matrix documenting problems / corrective actions discovered by manufacturing personnel during final debug
Support manufacturing team during tool tryout, buyoff, and installation which may include diagnosing and correcting design errors and coordinating updates resulting from customer changes.
Work to be performed at FCA Engine plant in Trenton Michigan
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering / Technology or equivalent experience.
5 years¿ experience in Rockwell, powertrain assembly controls software design, debug of powertrain assembly system automation.
Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites and external suppliers (20%-40%)
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
Must have: 5 years experience in Mitsubishi PLC design and powertrain assembly controls software design, debug of powertrain assembly system automation.
