Payroll Clerk Job Opening in Reno, Nevada - The Payroll Clerk is a key Dolan Family member responsible for calculating and processing payroll, payroll taxes, garnishments and other related tasks. The focus is on administrative tasks related to, payroll, onboarding, terminations and compliance. A background in processing payroll and basic accounting is preferred. Reports directly to the HR Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Calculate and verify payroll for various pay plans within the company.
Process payroll within software for regular pay periods, termination checks, etc.
Process employee advances, garnishment checks and other payments.
Reconcile accounting for various payroll items. Strong Excel knowledge preferred.
Data entry for onboarding, benefits, payroll and terminations.
Update spreadsheets and other management communication tools.
Filing, faxing, copying and other administrative tasks.
Educate new employees on company policies and benefits.
Complete compliance paperwork for benefits, OSHA and other regulatory agencies.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.00 /hour
