Accounts Receivable Specialist (AR) Job Opening in Signal Mountain, Tennessee - Trivium Healthcare is seeking a Health Care Accounts Receivable Specialist on Signal Mountain, TN starting Full-Time immediately.

Job responsibilities:
Collect outstanding balances as quickly as possible by applying collection best practices as defined by AR Management
Utilize various AR reports to target aged balances for collection in order to meet and maintain performance goals as set by AR Management
Evaluate denials and partial payments to determine if further reimbursement is valid and properly appeal within guidelines to facilitate payments
Effectively participate in carrier meetings and conference calls as needed
Research and post cash if needed
Identify and request adjustments to customer accounts as necessary while following departmental procedure
Alert management to irregularities, customer trends and areas of concern
Maintain communication with direct Manager and promptly follow-up with other departments as needed
Required Qualifications:
Associates degree or equivalent work experience with HS degree
Minimum of 1 year with accounts receivable experience processing, collecting and follow up for medical claims, preferably within hospice or home health settings.
Strong attention to detail
Experience using computerized accounting systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills - ability to work independently.
Able to move and lift up to 25 pounds.
Strong PC skills including MSOffice ? specifically Excel and Word
