Pharmacy Case Manager Coordinator Job Opening in Kansas City, Missouri - IPS, a 40 year tenured pharmaceutical services organization, is interviewing for the position of a Pharmacy Case Manager Coordinator .
Job description: Coordinate and assist in all tasks that are necessary to navigate a foreign national travel patient through the process and details of obtaining discharge medications needed after they have been prescribed by clinicians at urgent care centers, physicians offices, emergency rooms or hospitals within the United States.
Time Requirement: This could easily be 20-30 hours per week work from home. We are available 24 / 7 / 365 .
Qualities: Self-disciplined. Quality time management. Fast-paced Multi-tasker. Superior phone communication skills. Ability to quickly establish credibility telephonically. Ability to communicate in a timely manner with medical and hospital staff such as case managers, social workers, nurses, pharmacists. Ability to converse with foreign patients that may or may not have an adequate command of the English language. Compassion and understanding of the challenges and frustrations that the foreign travel patient are experiencing while being processed into our health care system. Detail oriented. Flexible availability. Ability to research and navigate the Internet quickly on laptop and cell phone and text accurately. Command of medical terminology
