HR Generalist Job Opening in Sandy, Utah - Simplus is hiring a HR Generalist who can help us run and manage the HR functions at Simplus. The HR generalist will assist the VP of Finance in ensuring all necessary HR functions are performed and that the company stays compliant with any applicable Federal and State laws. Compensation: 50-65K
Responsibilities and tasks required for this position include the following:
Committing to a full-time position located in our Sandy HQ office, Monday through Friday.
Managing the internal HR software and ensuring all employee information is up-to- date
Managing the employee handbook and making necessary updates when needed
Writing and implementing any necessary HR related policies
Running new employee onboarding, giving onboarding presentations and related HR Trainings
Performing employee termination and exit interviews
Assisting the VP of Finance in writing and issuing compensation plans
Issuing offer letters to new employees
Assisting the VP of Finance in performing employee annual review sessions
Assisting the VP of Finance with basic payroll processing and compliance
Auditing company and employee compliance with internal HR policies
Assisting the VP of Finance with calculating HR analytics
Assisting the Director of Operations with miscellaneous projects
Commuting to our HQ office in Sandy
Required Skills:
Proven experience as an HR Generalist
Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
Some payroll experience
BS/BA in HR/Business Administration
Outstanding knowledge of MS Office, including Word and Excel ( comfortable working with excel formulas, etc.)
Excellent communication and people skills
Ability to work in an unstructured environment
Self-driven and able to self-manage without close supervision
Detail oriented
Startup experience a plus
Excellent ability to learn new software systems and processes
Experience using Salesforce (preferred)
