Full-Time, Base Salary + Commission
As a Construction Sales Representative, you will be responsible for acquiring new accounts (70%) and managing existing accounts (30%) for multi-family construction materials projects. The Construction Sales Representative is also responsible for building, maintaining and growing long-term relationships with these customers to grow the revenue base. The Construction Sales Representative meets regularly with prospective and existing clients in his or her assigned market area to deliver sales presentations, follow up with key decision makers and sell materials.
Job Responsibilities
Develop a productive, professional relationships with existing and future customers.
Manage accounts from initial sale to close out of project
Identify and grow opportunities within territory
Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis
Maintain a thorough knowledge of the company?s available lines of business, services, pricing structures and sell into existing and prospective customers
Develop and maintain an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends in designated market to anticipate changing customer needs
Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers? expectations
Ensure timely and successful delivery of our product according to customer needs and objective
Qualifications:
2 years prior construction sales experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
Highly organized and efficient
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Ability to travel between job projects, customer offices and company office
