Director of Finance Job Opening in Munster, Indiana - Growing Medical Billing and Collections Company with an entrepreneurial setting to lead all accounting and business administration functions. You will report directly to the CEO and partner across all departments? executive leadership.
This is an empowering, hands-on and value-adding role with upside potential to VP quickly.
Opportunity:
Looking for someone who likes a fast paced setting and wants to make a difference. Be exposed to everything from business development and short ad long range planning to monthly closes, cash management, and KPIs. If you need a lot of direction and cannot multi-task, this is not the opportunity for you.
Key areas of responsibilities and opportunities to contribute are as follows:
Manage all general accounting and financial reporting, ensure financial controls are valid and prepare monthly close with supporting analytics in timely manner.
Responsible for all clients invoicing and tracking of timely payments. Eye for detail and close follow-up.
Cash Management & Forecasting. Will assist executive leadership in creating annual budget.
Business Analysis & Planning. Create a rolling forecast, provide insight on actuals to forecast and plan. Develop P&L analysis by regions and develop meaningful business metrics.
Will work with Director of Administrative Services and external CPA firm on all payroll needs.
Coordinate with external CPA firm and will be responsible for property and sales taxes as well as providing all tax data for state and federal fillings.
Business Evolution. Support expansion into new states, additional services lines, opening up of additional branches.
Insurance/Benefits. Work directly with Director of Administrative Services on employee insurance coverage?s, 401k, and risk management.
Other Business Involvement includes purchasing agreements, property leases, office administration, telephony, IT support.
Requirements:
CPA ideal, BS in Accounting is an absolute. Seeking at least 5 years of business experience in an entrepreneurial setting. First choice will be qualified candidates that have had experience with for-profit healthcare services organizations. Must have strong business acumen and communication skills.
