Full Charge Bookkeeper Job Opening in Channahon, Illinois - 18 Wheeler Truck Center strives for excellence and we look for people who share our vision. Our full service truck repair shop in Channahon is hiring for a highly motivated bookkeeper to join our team. This is a part-time position and pay depends on experience, to be discussed.
Duties and knowledge include but are not limited to:
Accounts payable/receivable
Manage bank, general ledger reconciliations, and prepare month-end closings
Payroll processing
Accounting knowledge and experience is a must (Federal and Illinois taxes and procedures)
Manage general office tasks (answer phone, fax, copy, filing, etc.)
Basic knowledge in QuickBooks Premier
Proficiently operate a computer and basic software (scanning, e-mail, Microsoft Office)
*Spanish-speaking a plus
MINIMUM 2 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping required.
