Accounts Receivable Associates Job Opening in Hoffman Estates, Illinois - Position: Accounts Receivable Associates
Position Overview:
As an Accounts Receivable Associates, you will work as a part of a global team to ensure that standard billing, shipping, and invoicing processes are followed and properly documented. In addition, you will perform collections, identify and resolve issues, and ensure payments are received, approved and reconciled.
Job Description:
Prepare and distribute accounts receivable information to customers and review the revenue/receivable activity in order to quickly identify and resolve any systematic issues.
Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts, including customer calls, account adjustments, small balance write-off, customer reconciliations and processing credit.
Review daily statements and shipping reports, finalize month-end sales and reconcile daily uploads and invoice logs.
Reconcile invoices to general ledger accounts, processing related journal entries and resolved accounting related issues by working with customers and other departments.
Respond to requests for information from internal and external customers.
Requirement Skills & Knowledge:
Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
5+years of Accounts Receivable experience within a fast paced in a B2B environment.
Strong knowledge of Billing and Collections procedures.
Advanced knowledge in MS Excel.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
