Job Duties & Responsibilities
Completed monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts of full P&L
Monthly and weekly financial reporting of key metrics to senior management and division
Prepare reports and statistics reflecting financial performance, profits, cash balances and other financial results
Responsible for daily analysis and communication of sales and dock performance
Support plant controller and management team in achieving variable and fixed overhead goals through detailed departmental reporting and analysis
Support Sarbanes and Oxley compliance
Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
Interacting with all levels of a manufacturing organization down to the machine operator level to verify data and obtain information
Presenting to management with confidence and precision
Skills & Qualifications
BS or BA in Accounting or equivalent
Minimum of 2-3 years in accounting in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a plant setting
Background with cost accounting (standard cost system) and experience in plant accounting systems including strong understanding of the functionality of an ERP system
GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley knowledge is required
Understanding of accounting and finance issues in a manufacturing environment
