Provider Network Manager Job Opening in Orlando, Florida - Role and Responsibilities
Provider Network Manager possess an integration of inter-personal, contract negotiation, management and specialized skill sets. The Provider Network Manager is responsible for negotiating health care provider contracts and managing relationships with current contracted in network groups. The Provider Network Manager will act as point of contact for health care groups regarding on boarding and implementation into the EHN network, provider questions, operational issues, and general health plan issues. The Provider Network Contract Relations Manager will provide ongoing feed back to health care provider groups regarding financial and utilization performance as well as maintain relationships between providers and EHN clients and customers. The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Establishing and maintaining strong business relationships with Hospitals, Physician groups, and Ancillary providers
Meet regularly with management, project teams, and functional team leaders within health care provider groups to review program performance, contracting strategies, and resolve problems
Ensures network contracts are executed within EHN guidelines
Work with team to perform cost/benefit analysis and determine impact of proposed changes
Ensure health care groups are compliant with EHN provider manual and provide education around topics within the manual, plan guidelines and clients
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor?s Degree required; Master?s Degree preferred
2 ? 3 years in an insurance plan contracting or provider relations arena
Demonstrate good presentation skills and excellent negotiation skills
Experience with client or provider relations
Intermediate or great proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Presentation experience, preferably with provider and group assets
Strong customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, establishing rapport and working with others
Program performance and understanding of healthcare analytics
