Care Coordinator Job Opening in Fort Lauderdale, Florida - We have an excellent, part-time, home-based opportunity to join our team. We are a diagnostic services network for the workers compensation industry, located in south Florida, and have served various employers, third-party administrators, and physician offices since 2006. This unique opportunity is available for someone who understands the benefits of working from home and can demonstrate the ability to stay on task while working autonomously. We require three months of supervised, in-office training before allowing transition to a home-based office.
Essential Functions:
Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls
Schedule diagnostic tests (MRI,CT,etc) for injured workers at facilities within the network
Coordinate with facilities to confirm attendance and obtain medical reports
Data entry with proprietary software for telephone calls, scheduling, medical records, etc
Work at a steady pace and for long periods of time
Qualifications
HS Diploma or equivalent
Must have one (1) solid year of phone/customer service experience in healthcare
Prior MRI center experience a huge plus + + +
Excellent communication skills-verbal and written
Bilingual Spanish/English is required
Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively with minimal supervision
Ability to accept and apply constructive feedback
Computer literacy and experience is required - Type at least 40 wpm
Must have noise-free area within your home as qualified office space
Compensation & Benefits
$12.50 - $13.50 per hour based on experience
