We are looking for Support Specialist with a passion to serve, an aptitude for building rapport, and an ability to engage Members and Providers through a genuine connection with a human touch approach. Our Support Specialist will actively engage in day-to-day communications with Providers and Members. This role requires a positive, energetic individual with strong organizational and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to multi-task.
Responsibilities:
Communicate frequently and effectively on both inbound and outbound calls to Providers and Members. This includes fielding Provider and Member questions, concerns or complaints.
Manage Provider Phone Mailbox such that messages are retrieved immediately and handled promptly.
Retrieve manufacturer invoices daily from portal, print invoices, confirm for accuracy and place in Member charts
Process incoming Purchase Agreements/Delivery Receipts per policy & procedures
Process new orders per policy and procedure
Process exchanges per policy and procedure
Process Return Authorization for returns/exchanges
Complete outbound calls to Providers to request missing documents
Send emails to Providers to request missing documents
Complete mail merge and process Welcome Letters to Members
Coordinate with Finance Department to obtain copies of Receipt of Payment to Members and complete the mailings
Mail or email Appointment Confirmation Letter to Members
Conduct Member chart audits to confirm all required forms are present for compliance
Accurate and timely recording of member and provider interactions
Safeguard our members? personal and health information
Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED, some college preferred
1-2 years customer service experience; telephone experience strongly preferred
Exposure and/or interest in healthcare products and outcomes
Ability to handle high call volumes and make sound business decisions in an efficient manner
Ability to remain highly motivated in a multi-faceted environment
Analytical thinker and problem solver
PC proficiency required
Attention to detail and quality-oriented
Highly energetic with motivation to assist Members, Providers and other team members
Multi-task oriented
Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
