Clinical Applications Analyst Job Opening in Fort Bragg, California - PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES:
Primary point of contact for North Coast Family Health Center, understand their processes and workflows and have advanced knowledge of their applications, and application functionality.
Works closely with and supports the Physician EHR Champion.
Sets timeline for and participates in workflow testing during system upgrades.
Maintains documentation on system processes and procedures.
Stays current with new application functionality and enhancements.
Develops and implements a role-based training program, builds, tests, and maintains the training environment. Creates and maintains training materials, policies and documentation.
Onboards new physicians, providers and staff to NCFHC applications to include user account creation.
Trains, assesses and tracks end-user proficiency.
Performs data auditing and validation to ensure accuracy of system data.
Provides customer service to users, to include at-elbow support.
Troubleshoots, communicates, reports and resolves system issues to maximize system potential, through internal chain of command and communication with vendor where appropriate.
Acts as a liaison between the administrative, clinical, and medical staff and the technical IT staff.
Assists Practice Admin and QAPI RN with MU, Quality and other government reporting requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Experience in clinical operations or health information technology required. One (1) year of experience implementing, designing, and/or managing a variety of Electronic Health Record and clinical systems using multiple software programs and network applications required.
Experience in training and creating courseware for clinical information users.
Current RN license preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and effective oral and written communication skills.
Proven track record of producing quality deliverables on time.
Ability to work on process redesign teams and facilitate change.
Ability to use Microsoft Office suite.
Experience with Electronic Health Record and other Healthcare applications.
Ability to read/follow basic instructions and orally communicate in English
Capable of performing position related physical requirements
