We're looking for an experienced and talented Web Developer to join our growing Development team. As a Web Developer, you will be working with the Development team in an Agile SCRUM environment utilizing Meteor, MongoDB, React, Redux, HTML & CSS that will power an effecient and scalable web application that will enable businesses to leverage Facebook Messenger as a new medium to communicate in and market with.
As a Web Developer, you must :
Be fully versed in JavaScript
Be familiar with front end such as React and Meteor (this is what we use)
Be organized and self-driven to achieve sprint goals
Contribute at a high level
Be open and candid with your input on development
Minimum Qualifications for Web Developer :
College degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Digital Media or related field, or equivalent work experience
3-5 years experience applications with web development
Proven experience developing javascript based websitesKnowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 development as well as experience with CSS frameworks (SASS, LESS)
Experience in javascript frameworks such as React, Meteor, Angular, Ember or Backbone
Demonstrated experience with source control management tools such as Git, SVN, TFS or CVS
Ability to be an agent of change, handle complex technical problems into smaller simple solutions, and create a culture that supports high team morale
Thorough knowledge of IT concepts, procedures and practices in the Software Development Life Cycle
Knowledge and experience working within an Agile software development environment
Some experience developing and deploying web applications in an enterprise scale environment
Understanding and experience with software debugging and integration techniques (API, Services, SOA)
Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions
Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
